1. Clear the Driveway: Move all cars, boats, and trailers to the street. Your driveway is our staging area for material delivery and debris containers.

2. Yard Clearance: Move patio furniture, BBQ grills, and children’s toys at least 15 feet away from the house perimeter.

3. Mark Delicate Landscaping: Point out prized rose bushes or fragile statues to our team. We use heavy-duty tarps, but extra awareness prevents accidents.

4. Mow the Lawn: Short grass allows our industrial rolling magnets to find and collect every fallen nail during our final cleanup.

5. Cover the Pool or Spa: If you have a pool, keep it covered to prevent shingle granules and dust from entering the filtration system.

6. Unlock Your Gates: Our crew needs full 360-degree access to your home. Please ensure all side gates are unlocked for the duration of the project.

Phase 2: Interior & Attic Safety

7. Secure the Walls: Heavy hammering causes minor vibrations. Temporarily remove mirrors, heavy picture frames, and fragile wall decor.

8. Attic Protection: Dust can fall through the roof deck during the "tear-off" phase. Cover any attic valuables with old sheets or plastic drop cloths.

9. Garage Prep: If your garage is uninsulated, move or cover cars and storage items located directly under the garage roof.

10. Close All Windows: Ensure every window and skylight is fully closed and locked to keep out dust, noise, and debris.

Phase 3: Safety & Professional Logistics

11. Identify Power Access: Our tools need power! Please identify a functional outdoor electrical outlet for our crew to use.

12. Pet Safety: Roofing is loud and stressful for animals. Keep pets indoors in a quiet room or at a neighbor's house during work hours.

13. Child Safety: Please keep children away from the work zone. Falling debris and heavy equipment make the perimeter a restricted area.

14. Title 24 Verification: Confirm your selected materials meet California’s "Cool Roof" mandates. (Trio Roofers handles all the CF1R/CF2R paperwork for you!)
